New cases of COVID-19 continue to drop in Marshall County and across Iowa.
The country's total number of confirmed cases - the number reported to the World Health Organisation - remained at 1154, with the total confirmed and probable cases at 1504, deaths at 22, and the number of recovered cases at 1482. There were four new cases in recovery reported during the same time frame.
Of the 192 reported cases, 173 are considered by the county to be "recovered" or "recovering" and are no longer under public health Isolation.
Five new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Thurston County on Saturday, bringing the county's total to 192 cases since the first was reported on March 11.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, patients with confirmed COVID-19 have mild to severe respiratory problems, with symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath.
Twelve people are in hospital with COVID-19, including three in intensive care. Locally, the 46563 zip code that includes the City of Plymouth has had the most cases at 151. The county's testing rate per 1,000 people was 35.9.
People between the ages of 18 and 40 have the majority of confirmed cases with 44 percent; people between the ages of 41 and 60, 35 percent; the 61 to 80 age group, 13 percent; people older than 81, 5 percent; and 4 percent of cases have been younger than 18.
