The panel under chairmanship of Niti Aayog member Dr. Vinod K Paul, was formed to submit a report about reasonable rates for various COVID related facilities/ tests etc for private hospitals/labs.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, private hospitals can not overcharge COVID-19 patients for their hospitalization.
On Thursday evening, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had said that testing was conducted at 193 centres and that people living in containment zones were being tested in the initial stage.
Keeping in view the close knit urban structure of the NCR region, Shah said "it is necessary for all concerned authorities in Delhi and the NCR region to come together to tackle the virus". "169 centres have been set up across Delhi", said Rai.
The meeting was attended by the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, besides senior officials from the Union Government, Chief Secretaries of Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and other senior officers from Delhi-NCR.
"The expert committees shall inspect, supervise and issue necessary directions to all government hospitals, Covid hospitals and other hospitals in NCT of Delhi taking care of Covid patients". "A total of testing samples of 27,263 have been collected in #Delhi from 15 to 17 June 2020 against the daily collection which varied between 4,000-4,500 earlier", spokesperson, home affairs ministry said in a tweet.

Meanwhile the Delhi government on Thursday also gave an order to fix the price of COVID-19 tests performed by laboratories at Rs 2,400 each. A total of 2.3 lakh people were surveyed.
Delhi LG Anil Baijal held a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority through a video conferencing to review the healthcare preparedness, while Union Home Minister Amit Shah also held a meeting to review the coronavirus situation in the national capital. To increase testing capacity & quick delivery of results in Delhi, testing via Rapid Antigen testing methodology was also started yesterday.
Home Ministry also stated that door to door health surveys were finished in 242 containment zones in Delhi.
