Home of 'Duck Dynasty' star Willie Robertson struck by gunfire

"Duck Dynasty" star Willie Robertson's Louisiana estate was targeted in a auto shootout on Friday - with a bullet that pierced a bedroom window, according to a report.

King was charged with aggravated assault.

In 2018, one year after the show ended, the Robertson family began operating tours in the town for fans who wished to visit all the local spots featured on the show, including the Duck Commander Warehouse, where the family still produce their popular duck calls daily.

According to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of someone shooting from a vehicle in West Monroe, La. on Friday around 2:30 p.m.

Bond was set at $150,000, according to the report.

Both homes are part of the estate belonging to Robertson.

Ontario to request military help for long-term care outbreaks
As Ontario approaches 13,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 60-percent of cases are in the Greater Toronto Area. For the second day in a row the growth rate of new cases in Ontario is at the lowest it's been for weeks.

No one was injured in the incident, which police are now investigating, but Willie told USA Today he and his family were "pretty shook up", adding, "It looks like they were just spraying bullets across my property". The family - including Willie's son John Luke and wife Mary Kate and their infant, as well as daughter Sadie Robertson and her husband, Christian Huff - have been in quarantine together since the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Witnesses described one of the suspects, who drove a white over brown or beige Ford F-250 with large aftermarket tires and rims, as a young white male in his teens or early 20s.

He told deputies that a second residence at the estate was also struck by gunfire.

"Nobody was outside at the time, but everybody had been out about 5 minutes before", Robertson said. The truck was captured on surveillance camera. "I had just gone to the store when it happened".

Deputies said other occupants were in the vehicle with the suspect during the shooting but they have not released more information about additional suspects.

"I've been in close contact with the investigators", Robertson said.
